I try to reply to a different place dedicated to ASE but could not find it.

I 'm seeing same behaviour, just tested this am in my ASE 15.7 SAP 103 see bellow:

create index idx1 on tab1( archiveID, file_id ) with consumers=10, online

QUERY PLAN FOR STATEMENT 1 (at line 1).

    STEP 1

        The type of query is CREATE INDEX.

        TO TABLE

        tab1

        Using I/O Size 2 Kbytes for data pages.
